Two German commuter trains crash in a head on collision killing at least nine people

A head on collision by two commuter trains in Bavaria,Germany has taken the lives of at least nine people and left over one hundred and fifty others injured.

 

Train operators said that both trains partially derailed and fused together near Bad Aibling, about thirty seven miles from Munich.

 

Police reported that at least fifty people were seriously injured from the crash and that the drivers of both trains and two train guards were among the nine people killed.

 

Authorities said that the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
